Ballistic Body Armour (Pty) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of protective gear in South Africa, and supplies reliable equipment to countries all around the world. We are at the forefront of personal ballistic protection solutions, and our test laboratories are among the best in the country. This enables us to manufacture custom-designed protection equipment, suitable for any kind of condition and use.
Ballistic Body Armour is based In Germiston, South Africa. From the very beginning, our policy has been to develop and test our own products. To achieve this, we have an in-house test laboratory, which today, is one of the most sophisticated test labs in the country (including v50 testing according to STANAG 2920).
Over fifteen years ago, we expanded into blast protection, EOD and IED products, marketed and distributed by its sister company, Holdfast Systems. The same philosophy applied, and we have access to an explosive test range to conduct our development work.
