Hydracor began trading in January 1984 representing Pedro Roquet S.A. To supplement the product range, Hydracor was also appointed as a distributor for White Hydraulics Inc. who is now the second largest manufacturer of geroller type motors in the USA.
Both of these agencies are held on an exclusive basis in Southern Africa. Recently, new product lines from Lu-En, AMA and Smit from Italy and Prince and Source from the USA have expanded the range of products.
The founding members are Mike Oscroft and Christo Kapp. Mike Oscroft is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and worked at the Roquet factory for nearly a year in the early 70’s,
Hydracor has two branches, the head office in Cape Town and a branch in Johannesburg. Full workshop facilities are available at both branches to support the sales effort.
