Our footwear is tested and certified according to the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications and the South African Bureau of Standards.
Interceptor ensures that all products released into the market performs with the purpose for which it was constructed.

Interceptor evolved out of HI-TEC Sports, the footwear company founded in 1974 by Frank van Wezel. It was Frank’s love for sport that lead him to build an innovative, lightweight and instantly comfortable sports shoe.
This lightweight technology could be transferred into safety and uniform footwear.

Real genuine leather used in the construction of the upper.
ANKLE PROTECTION
Maximum ankle protection minimizing ankle roll and impact related injuries.
BREATHABLE MATERIAL
Lightweight breathable materials used keeping feet dry and fresh for longer.
ANTI-STATIC
Allows for the discharge of static build up minimizing the chance for a spark.
COMPOSITE TOE
Lightweight, wide-fitting, metal-free toe tap. Tested to withstand an impact of 200 joules.
SLIP & OIL RESISTANT
Durable soles that withstand damage caused by oils and other corrosive substances.
WIDE WIDTHS
Tested under both SRA and SRB conditions. Tested on ceramic tile wetted with sodium lauryl sulphate and tested on steel with glycerol.
