Read the latest edition of the AGRIFOODSA Magazine

FEB-MAR '24

Welcome to the February | March 2024 edition of the AGRIFOODSA Magazine.

As we bid farewell to the month of love – and extreme heat, it seems – we look forward to cooler weather and very cool events in the agriculture and food industries, and the big event we’re focussing on this month is KragDag Western Cape 2024. This expo will see in its second year at the Môreson Farm in the beautiful town of Malmesbury and will take place 21, 22 and 23 March 2024. KragDag promotes sustainable and self-sufficient living, offering solutions for energy, water, safety, health, food production, education, transport, and construction. They encourage creativity and entrepreneurship through expos, radio, courses, and newsletters, and provide a platform for innovative ideas. For more information about exhibiting or visiting, go to www.kragdag.co.za/webtuiste/ekspo-weskaap.

Why not get out and about and spread a little luck and love locally. While you’re out be sure to support some of the many local businesses and places mentioned in this issue.

This month, special mention goes to our cover featured advertiser, the Fertilizer Association of Southern Africa (Fertasa). Established in 1959 and restructured in 2014, the association represents the fertilizer industry in Southern Africa, with its members producing, trading, blending and distributing fertilizer products across this region. Fertasa’s purpose is to act as the recognised and preferred body that promotes the image of the fertilizer industry by promoting the integrity of its members and building preferential trust for their products and services, and also enhancing and protecting the interests of its members through effective engagement with government and organised agriculture. To find out more about their products and services, check out pages 24-25 & 40-41 or go to www.fertasa.co.za.

Apart from the magazine, be sure to have a look at our offerings on the AGRIFOODSA.INFO website at www.agrifoodsa.info, our bi-monthly newsletter and find us on all major social media platforms.

As we implement a few changes and make adjustments, we appreciate your patience and your feedback. Our mission is to continue to bring you all the things you find useful about AGRIFOODSA and more. And, as always, my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this issue.

May your pockets be heavy, and your heart be light. May good luck pursue you morning and night.
