Pieter Booysen; the owner of Motorland Klerksdorp, started his motor trade career in 1981 as a Sales Executive at Klerksdorp Nissan.
Climbing the business ladder, Pieter Booysen received 5 Top 10 Sales Executive awards and started his own business called Motorland Klerksdorp in 1990. In 2008 he was offered the Honda Franchise for Klerksdsorp and 2 years later he opened Honda Rustenburg and Mahindra Rustenburg as well. Being very successful with Honda, Pieter Booysen received the Dealer of the year award 5 years in a row. He was also part of the Honda SA dealer council for 7 years which he was the dealer council chairman for Honda SA for 4 years. During his period as dealer council chairman for Honda SA, he was also part of the National Automotive Dealer Association.
In 2018 and 2019 respectively Pieter Booysen Sold the Honda and Mahindra Rustenburg franchises and then Honda Klerksdorp which marked the end of a very successful era in the new car business. In August 2019 the name Motorland was reborn again as a family business, and during the 2020 Covid period Pieter Booysen bought a very well situated piece of land and developed a new pre-owned showroom.
