DEC '22-JAN '23

Welcome to the December 2022 | January 2023 edition of the AGRIFOODSA Magazine.

It’s the most wonderful time of year, the season of holidays! From summer fun through to Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and every day in between, there are countless reasons to celebrate. And we’re happy to celebrate with you.

2022 was a challenging year for us and many of our subscribers, but it also brought about countless wonderful opportunities.

One such opportunity was our partnership with KragDag, who we are proud media sponsors to. A new endevour for them – and us – is the Sakeliga KragDag Western Cape Expo to take place in Malmesbury on 17 and 18 February 2023. The Sakeliga KragDag Expo is the largest alternative energy and independent lifestyle expo in South Africa. As of 2019 the expo also includes a full-fledged Agricultural Sub-Expo in collaboration with TLU. With its unique character, it is also the largest Afrikaans event of its kind in the world and is growing every year.

With the motto "do your own thing", KragDag focuses on self- and mutual care solutions for households, farms and small to medium enterprises. Renewable energy and related matters play a central role, but provision is also made for other aspects that make a life of self-preservation and self-sufficiency possible.
