Staalboer is a proudly South African steel manufacturing business based in Pretoria, Gauteng. Staalboer is a family business that was established in 2003 by Jan Andries Smith Snr. We manufacture steel panel reservoirs, tank stands and guard towers. The business has since grown to servicing clients in multiple countries including Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini (Swaziland), Uganda, and Sri Lanka, and we have completed roughly 3600 projects across Africa and globally.

Jan-Andries Smith Jnr is currently the managing director of Staalboer Aqua, a subdivision of Staalboer that focuses on the manufacturing of steel panel reservoirs.

While we provide a wide variety of standard products, we pride ourselves in our flexibility when clients are in need of a unique solution to their problem. We are always up for a challenge and enjoy going off script without compromising the quality of our work. We are also able to manage difficult conditions on site.

WHAT ARE STEEL WATER TANKS / DAMS?

Steel water tanks are also known as steel panel reservoirs, steel panel dams, steel panel water tanks, corrugated water dams, zinc dams or zinc reservoirs.

The reservoirs can be used in a broad spectrum of industry sectors including agriculture, aqua culture, mining, construction, general industry, fire tanks, domestic use, rainwater harvesting and swimming pools.

The liner is suitable for potable water and a wide range of chemicals and liquid fertilizer.

CAPACITY RANGES FROM 2 000 LITRES TO 4 000 000 LITRES.

WHAT ARE WATER TANK STANDS?

A tank stand is used to elevate a water tank above the ground to provide higher water pressure. The stand ensures constant pressure, which may be necessary in case of emergencies such as pump failure or unreliable electricity supply. A height of 10 meters is equal to 1 Bar pressure.

SUPPORTS 2 500 LITRE, 5 000 LITRE, AND 10 000 LITRE TANKS.

WHAT ARE SECURITY GUARD TOWERS?

With heights ranging from 1.5m to 12m and upwards. Staalboer Guard Towers offer a 360° view from four 900mm x 900mm windows. This gives the security guard the advantage of scanning surrounding areas.

Our fully hot dip galvanised guard towers are supplied in kit form for easy transport and installation.

TANK STANDS AND GUARD TOWERS ARE MANUFACTURED MOSTLY FROM ANGLE IRON
