Kirloskar: Commitment To Quality And Customer Service

KIRLOSKAR ENGINES SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD (KESAL) was established in November 2003 and is the authorized sole distributor of Kirloskar diesel engines and associated equipment in South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana. KESAL entered the South African engine market with the main focus on engines for general industrial applications, construction, agricultural equipment, water pumps, mining equipment and diesel powered generating sets.

KESAL offers quality products, at competitive prices, backed by immaculate after sales service to suit the demands of any industry. In turn, this leads to reduced investment and running costs, with the result being a decrease in total cost of ownership (TCO).

KESAL‘s key focus has been in providing customers with comprehensive solutions for diesel prime mover requirements. We strive to offer products to suite the application and requirement by being versatile in our engine scope of supply.

KESAL is very active in the local market offering various repowering solutions for existing as well as new applications.

KESAL has an aggressive stocking model that allows for excellence in sales and service delivery.

KESAL has already supplied more than 11,000 engines in Sub-Sahara Africa for various market segments.

This year at Nampo we are showcasing our very first electronic governed air cooled diesel engine commonly used for underground mining operations. With a current population of over one thousand engines actively running underground, this new technology will benefit the mining industry.

Secondly, but not least, we are also showcasing our new water cooled engine models (4K1080TA and 6K1080TA) commonly used for power generation and water pumps. The smaller casing produces more power in its class, so Kirloskar have lots of faith in the new engines.
