Piket received feedback from the farmers with regards to the 10-Row No Till Cover Crop Fine Seed Planter, the outcome was that is just too small for a medium size farm and the 14-Row just too big, then it was customised with a 3-point lifting action to enable easy movement through gates & around tight corners.

This is where the 12-Row became a reality. This planter fills the gap between the trailed & 3-point orchard/vineyard planter.

The planter is ideal for small irrigation plots, tight turning corners & still wide enough to cover the tractor tracks. Another awesome characteristic; is that this planter has the ability to plant close to a fence.

The No Till Cover Crop Fine Seed Planter is a good all-rounder planter for planting small grains, pastures, cover crop or field rehabilitation & can plant in a variety of conditions.

The No Till Cover Crop Fine Seed Planter is designed to plant all sorts of small grains & fine seeds, the conditions can vary. It can also plant & cut through stubble & in new pastures.

This planter can plant in prepared fields too; just by reducing the down force.

What makes the Piket No Till Cover Crop Fine Seed Planter special, is that the planter comes with three bins as a standard. The planter is also capable of planting fine seeds shallow & have adjustable seed depth. Seed depth is not controlled by planter wheels or 3-point, but each unit has its own depth adjustment pin, this enables seed to be planted more uniformly. Good seed to soil contact improves germination & creates ideal conditions for planting.
