Visit Agrifoosa At Nampo 2017

After the 50th anniversary celebrations of the NAMPO Harvest Day last year, Grain SA has stepped up efforts to have expansions and innovations on the grounds and to the programme ready for the 51st Harvest Day – which is being presented from 16 to 19 May 2017 outside Bothaville.

“Grain SA wants to ensure that NAMPO is the agricultural sector’s most relevant platform and market place for innovation, technology, information exchange and discussion. The expansions and innovations, our 2017 theme, “Unfold the future”, and a brand-new NAMPO logo confirm that the organisation is positive about the role of the Harvest Day in the future of agriculture”, Toit Wessels, Assistant Manager: NAMPO and Marketing of Grain SA, said on the eve of NAMPO 2017.

Have you booked out your calendar for Nampo day? If not, do so now! We believe that Nampo 2017 is going to be the best one yet.

So, what can we expect this year?

New outside exhibition spaces, bringing the total number of exhibitors to more than 700. Input suppliers, manufacturers and distributors as well as the most advance agricultural technology will be on site.

Additional international interest. Exhibitors come from Portugal, Israel, Argentina, France, Poland, the USA and India, and, this year, exhibitors from Russia and Brazil will be there too.

Upgraded obstacle course for 4x4 enthusiasts, plus a demonstration track for motorcycles, side-by-sides and four-wheel cycles.

A full stock section of animals will be exhibited, including ten sheep breeds, four goat breeds, 28 cattle breeds; plus the Saddlebred Society of South Africa and Arab Horse Society of South Africa will be showcasing horses in addition to the Friesian and miniature horses which can be seen.

Enthralling entertainment, including a first time international auctioneering competition during Nampo and a daily children’s show in the cattle/horse arena.

A Women’s programme in the mornings, which is back after two years of being absent from the event. Ladies can enjoy the inspiring programme.
