NAMPO 2024, held from May 14th to 17th, has marked significant strides in showcasing agricultural innovation under the theme "Agriculture in a Digital Age." This year’s event highlighted the integration of digital tools and connectivity to enhance farming efficiency, sustainability, and overall productivity

Enhanced Infrastructure: The event saw infrastructure improvements with the installation of additional generators to meet increased electricity demands. The new Midas Hall hosted 60 indoor exhibitors, reflecting the expansion efforts of the event.

Culinary Delights: The Syngenta Boerekos Plaaskombuis food court provided a diverse range of culinary options, benefiting local schools, churches, and community organizations through expanded traditional food stalls

Interactive Features: The kykNET Women’s Programme returned with engaging sessions featuring local celebrities. A new children’s play park offered supervised recreational activities, and the updated NAMPO App enhanced visitor navigation and engagement with exhibitors​​.

Innovative Exhibitions: The 2024 Farmer’s Plan’s Competition introduced a new category for school learners, showcasing innovations in various categories such as new inventions, tools, and household solutions

Traditional NAMPO favorites remained popular, including 4×4 vehicle demonstrations, seed plots, and the Nation in Conversation forum, which facilitated discussions on local and international agricultural topics. The livestock division featured daily pedigree livestock parades, displaying a wide array of breeds

Attendance was robust, with over 16,000 visitors on the first day alone, and more than 900 exhibitors participating. The event attracted local and international guests, underscoring its importance as a platform for agricultural business and networking.
