We Are Drilling Masters

To date, the TORQUE AFRICA consists of 4 entities, namely:

  • Torque Africa Exploration (Pty) Ltd
  • Torque Projects (Pty) Ltd
  • Torque Exploration Solutions (Pty) Ltd
  • Torque Namibia Drilling CC

Torque Africa Exploration (Pty) Ltd was founded by Mr. TN Bezuidenhout, a seasoned drilling operator with more than 20 years of experience in the drilling industry under his belt. Mr. Bezuidenhout, having been involved in the drilling industry since 1999 established the flagship company, Torque Africa Exploration (Pty) Ltd in 2014 and the entity has gone from strength to strength since its inception.

Due the great success and an increase in demand for the services offered by Torque Africa Exploration (Pty) Ltd throughout South Africa, the establishment of a sister company was deemed necessary. Torque Projects (Pty) Ltd was established in 2018 to service clients located in Eastern, Western and Northern Cape.

It became evident to Mr. Bezuidenhout that a transfer of critical skills relating to the drilling industry needed to be transferred to previous disadvantaged individuals. Torque Exploration Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a level 2 BBBEE company was established, in partnership with Simon Netshiozwi to provide this function.

Torque Namibia Drilling CC was created in 2019 as the first step towards establishing our footprint on the African continent. The entity was established to service clients located in Namibia.

Rotary drilling is one of the most effective and prevalent methods used in various industries, including construction and mining. Clay cutters: Drill bits which are specially designed for use in soft surface areas, such as sand, clay or even soft rock.Tricones: This type of bit is capable of handling a wide range of different rock formations including soft, hard and everything in between. Augers are generally used for drilling holes for deep foundation piles in

DTH Hammers

Down-the-hole drilling is one of the fastest ways to drill through hard rock surfaces. Especially useful in open pit mines and quarries where the ground is hard and tough to drill. Our durable DTH hammers make it possible for smaller drilling rigs to work just as fast as large rigs because of its newer, improved technology.   DTH products can be used in a range of applications:
